Bug Fixes and Improvements

Many bugs have been fixed, Major Ones:

* Fixed the middle mouse button not hiding the interface properly.

* Fixed the interface hide function during animations. (Some things might be missed.)

* Fixed an incorrect route flag related to Melissa’s hotel visit.

* Fixed two incorrect route flags related to Ayleen’s bar visits.

* Fixed the Episode 1 garage free-roam sequence playing twice.

* Polished English grammar and corrected inaccurate subtitle lines throughout the game.

There aren’t any major changes, but the story continues a little further. It should add roughly 30+ minutes of new content. Just 173 new renders.

The personality system has also been reworked. The old system, which could cause hard locks, has been replaced with a more flexible system that gives you more room to plan your choices strategically. I believe the new version is much more balanced.

Since the branches aren’t all finished yet, when you reach the part where you can text Chelsea, please don’t message her. Choose Ayleen instead, as hers is currently the only completed branch.

Also, players who are not on Ayleen’s romance path will see a shorter version of her scenes. To unlock the full version, you need to have impressed her through your previous choices.

Lastly, there were some stuttering and performance issues in the Gallery that apparently nobody had noticed yet. I’ve fixed those as well.

Deadset Darling v0.2.0 is now available.

This build includes the full Episode 1 playtest version, with around 2 hours of gameplay depending on your choices.

Please note that this is still a playtest build. Audio, music, polish, and final adjustments may still be missing or subject to change.

Episode 1 introduces Westbrook, new characters, new routes, the gallery/replay system, and the first major steps of Marcus’s new life after the prologue.

Your feedback is very important at this stage. If you find bugs, typos, broken scenes, missing images, or anything that feels strange, please let me know.
