Echoes From the Other World, an NSFW transformation focused (mostly Bimbofication) visual novel made in Ren’Py, based on the world of Genshin Impact.

This is my first game and first Ren’Py project, so I’m still learning a lot as I go. After around 12 months of work, version 0.1.0 is finally here.

Story

Columbina has a goal: collect the Gnoses of the Archons.

But instead of going after them herself, she recruits the Traveler (you) and sends him to gather them in her place.

Accompanied by Paimon, you’ll travel across the seven nations, meeting familiar faces, getting involved in all kinds of situations, corrupting and transforming people along the way, and slowly collecting the Gnoses for Columbina.

Of course, things probably won’t go exactly as planned.

Will the Traveler manage to complete the mission?

You’ll have to find out.

The game is currently in Alpha, but there’s already around 2 hours of content depending on how you play.

The current version includes:

Story choices and different interactions
Interactive minigames
Multiple characters and scenes
Handmade artwork
Ren’Py visual novel gameplay
The beginning of the journey through the seven nations

This is only the start, and I have a lot more planned for future updates.

Art

All character and props artwork used in the project is handmade and created without AI.

Backgrounds are made using screenshots taken directly from the game, which are then edited and passed through filters to better fit the visual novel style.

I wanted the game to still feel familiar to anyone who knows Genshin while giving it its own visual identity.

Development

This project has been in development for roughly 12 months so far.

Since this is my first game, I’ve been learning Ren’Py, writing, implementation and a lot of other things during development, so feedback is always appreciated.
