Hey everyone!

I’m MadLenix, a solo developer, and False Heir is my first visual novel.

False Heir is a drama about power, family and secrets. My goal is to tell a story you actually want to follow, with characters who feel like real people, each with their own secrets and motives. When adult content is introduced, I want it to feel like a natural part of the story rather than the sole reason to play.

What to expect:

No grind. You won’t spend hours clicking through the same rooms or chasing stats to unlock the next scene. The story moves at its own pace.
Choices that matter. Your decisions shape your relationships and who you become.
One planned minigame. Rather than filling the game with repetitive minigames, I plan to introduce a single card game woven into the Blackwoods’ world.
Content over complexity. As a solo developer, I’d rather spend my time on new scenes than on features that delay every release. My goal is to keep development focused and updates meaningful.

About this release:

This Prologue introduces some of the characters and sets the stage for the story. It’s a relatively short introduction, with much more planned for future chapters.

Please note: The current Prologue contains suggestive visuals but no explicit sexual content. Adult content is planned for future updates.

I’d really appreciate any feedback, especially on the writing, characters, renders and overall pacing. Every comment helps shape the next chapters.
