Find a Wife in a Dungeon is an adult roguelike where your backpack IS your build: drag items into the grid, chain colors, fuse straight lines into something greater, and let your build do the fighting through branching dungeon maps. Empress Tamayo
The seventh wife has arrived. Deep in the Thousand-Gate Shrine, a nine-tailed kitsune has been waiting for someone brave enough to climb her stairs. 0.7 also brings her raid, a treasure-stealing Mimic,big wife patch and a reworked bestiary and a fresh coat of paint on every dungeon map.
Empress Tamayo, the seventh wife
  • Her full gallery: 100 new pictures, plus 9 voiced animated clips.
  • 8 new recipes to hunt from her re-defeats: Fox Kiss, Silk Embrace, Fox Ride, Shrine Vow, Sacred Sake, and three secret ones: Empress, Moonlit and Nine Tails, her own kitsune kinks.
  • Thousand Gates: an open side set behind the shrine gates.
  • The Kitsune Trick: a full scene to unlock.
  • Her own voice for greetings and reactions, and her own popups.
  • New combat animations for her fight.
Raid boss: The Ninth Tail Awakens
Beat Tamayo and she may not be finished with you. On some Dungeon 7 maps, a RAID node waits above her.
  • After her defeat, choose Challenge Tamayo or move on to Dungeon 8.
  • Empress Tamayo, the Nine-Tailed Ascendant, fights in three forms: The Awakened Fox, The Spiritflame Beast and The Nine-Soul Calamity. Each one hits harder and faster than the last.
  • Blue foxfire breath burns straight through armor. In her final form, lightning brings Soul Sever, which can end you in a single hit.
  • Win and open her raid chest: petals every time, and a rare chance at Tamayo’s Ninth Soul.
The Mimic
  • A Mimic can take the place of an ordinary battle on campaign maps. Look for the chest face in a purple frame.
  • It copies your stats and fights you in its own vault. Every hit of its Snatching Tongue steals one of your items and one of your run upgrades. Everything comes back when the fight ends.
  • Beat it and it flees through the vault gates, leaving a glowing drop behind: crafting shards, from common Fate Shards to legendary Grail Shards.
Crafting Bench (preview)
  • A new Crafting Bench in the Wife Shop holds your shards and raid materials, and shows where each one is found.
  • Crafting itself is coming soon. Everything you collect now stays in your stash for it.
Reworked bestiary
  • New combat animations for the Goblin, Orc, Troll, Lich, Gelatinous Slime, Bandit, Void Cultist, Wraith, Ogre Brute and Blood Harpy. Their elite versions use the new art too.
  • New attack sounds for most of them, plus the Skeleton.
  • New combat art for the Dragon and the Dark Knight, with a new Dragon claw attack.
  • Kira and Sylvara get new animated combat sheets, and Azrielle a new defeat animation.
  • The Void Empress, reworked: she opens behind a Void Shield that fades only after her first Reality Split lands. Reality Split halves your combat stats for the rest of the battle. She has new spells, animations and sounds too.
Maps and UI
  • All eight dungeons have new painted route maps. The Shrine’s waterfalls glimmer.
  • A new armory backdrop for packing your backpack before a run.
  • Custom cursors: the new Grailbound cursor set in Shop > Cosmetics > Cursors (desktop). Switch back to the system cursor any time.
  • Sharper framing on the wives’ popup portraits.

  on an unkillable god-build (you know who you are), your exit is ready.
– NEW: petal payout is now shown live in the HUD next to your score,
  so you always know what finishing is worth.
– Petal economy rebalanced: payouts are hard-capped at 2000 per run,
  with a popup when a run hits the cap.
– Endless mode (Tier 4+) now announces itself — you’ve beaten the story
  at Tier III; beyond that it’s a score chase.
– Endless enemies scale much harder per tier — god-builds now meet real
  danger around Tier 9-12 instead of “never”.
– Endless scoring rebalanced to reward depth instead of number inflation.
