Hi everyone!
Nobody Man is a dark fantasy RPG about a man who wakes up in a prison cell with no memory and no name. Down here everyone’s name is self-given, so you choose what the others call you. The prison has strange, strict rules, a great bell that tells everyone when to bow, and women in charge who expect to be obeyed. Your job is to stay alive, learn the rules, and decide how much of your pride you are willing to keep.
This is my very first game! I’m a beginner and this is my first experience in game making, so please be kind. This demo covers Day 1 and Day 2. It’s a small taste of the atmosphere, the characters and how choices work. I would be really happy if you play it and tell me what you think, because your feedback will help me decide where to take the game next.

– Wake up in Cell 7, choose your own name, and meet your cellmates. Your choices change how they feel about you.
– Walk the corridors, look for clues, and fight in a real-time side-view action battle.
– Meet the Warden in her office, listen to the prison rules, and survive the bell, supper and the first night.
– Find the small secrets: there is a hidden ending and a couple of achievements for curious players.
– Choices matter: kneel or stand, tell the truth or lie, speak up or stay quiet. Everything has a price.

2. Browsers do not allow opening it directly from disk, so serve the folder with any small web server, for example: [ICODE]python -m http.server 8000[/ICODE] and open [ICODE]http://localhost:8000[/ICODE].

3. The game starts muted on localhost. Add [ICODE]?sound[/ICODE] to the address to hear it: [ICODE]http://localhost:8000/?sound[/ICODE]

The game works fully offline. Saves and achievements are kept locally.

Demo v0.0.3 (2026-10-24):

– Day 2 is here! The demo now goes on past the first night: a whole new day in the prison and the second night, with new scenes, new choices and a few new faces.

– Every picture was remade from scratch. All the CGs and scenes were rebuilt, so they look a lot better (and darker) now, and many of them are alive: small looping animations instead of still images.

– Lots of small bug fixes and text polish.

Demo v0.0.2 (2026-10-19): the rat fight now tells you the controls (a message just before it, and a reminder at the bottom of the screen). Z now also attacks, and X or B guard, so phone gamepads (JoiPlay) work. Thanks to kazhir for the report.

Demo v0.0.1 (2026-10-18): first public release. Day 1 only.

Developer Notes:

– This is my first game, made alone. Expect rough edges, and please tell me about them.

– About AI use: the pictures (CGs and character portraits) are AI-generated, then edited and polished by me. Sound effects and music are synthesized for this project. The story, dialogue, code and design are mine.

– This demo has no explicit sex scenes. The adult side of the game for now is power play and verbal humiliation by women in charge. Everyone in the game is an adult.

– The full game has a Persian translation, but this demo is English only.

– What I’d love feedback on: Is the story easy to follow? Is the pacing OK? Is the rat fight too hard or too easy? Are the clues and the timing moments fair? Is the text clear? Did you find any bugs or get stuck?
