Hello Everyone! Thanks for being here and thanks for reading this.
-I like playing Visual Novels and I decided to start on this journey. I’m certainly no coder, and I really don’t want to be one. I just want to share my creativity with people and this allows me to do so. I really hope you can excuse the visuals and my coarse language, but if you can’t, then simply walk away and don’t bother. I have included a deeper lore/info PDF in the game files, should you want to have a look..
-Inspiration was gained from different games and you will see resemblances. It’s easy to tell. The style of game play will be a Kinetic Novel because I’m not going to waste my time, as well as yours, with pissing around clicking shit 16 million times to go through a story of 1600 clicks (yes, I’m exaggerating, but oh well). I won’t be able to cater to people to not see something they don’t want to see. This is a story, and everything I put into it, will be in it. I will take suggestions for adding MAYBE A FEW THINGS but not very much, to be honest. I have the story and I don’t want to deviate too much from it.
-As for you; You will assume the role of the Leader of the most thriving village/city (NewBurg), but that role really isn’t too prominent. (I felt it would be nice to at least let a player stick their desired name into the story) This Kinetic Novel will be more like different scenes with various characters, and in the future there may be some cheating scenes, but no characters will lose their loved ones to other characters. No true NTR. There will probably be some sharing scenes too, the characters are friendly for the most part, to each other. Characters will die, sadly. But for the most part, I want to keep an active/decent cast.
-Importantly- I totally generated all visuals using AI. Everything was done while struggling with the free to use website AI generators. Which means, I had to use many, many, many different websites and different engines to create what I have. Many hours spent searching for sites to get things done and then only to have a prompt not work quite right and not give a quite right scene I was hoping for. So, lots of time wasted and lots of frustration. Some of my prompts were very very long. Websites limit the prompt character numbers as well. So that was an issue in itself when I needed to be able to use well over 1000 characters to get the desired result generated for some scenes.
-The scripting, as you will certainly be able to tell, it’s all mine. I use coarse language, and I don’t really wanna hear people whining about that shit either. I was a truck driver, and that holds true with the saying, “Truck drivers swear like sailors.”
