Two things come in the box:
Both Originals received complete rewrites and expansions. That is only one additional chapter per Story, but more than 1,800 new messages and choice replies in total.
Your choices can now change relationships, unlock scenes, open or close routes, affect later chapters, and lead to completely different endings.

Your choices finally matter. They can open and close routes, change relationships, unlock scenes, affect later chapters, and lead to completely different endings.

Two Original Stories, completely reworked

Movie Night is now complete with a seventh chapter, Front Row, and several endings shaped by your decisions.
My Beautiful Neighbor gets a fourth chapter centered on the seminar and hotel, with major new routes for Maya and Jade.
More than 1,800 additional messages and choice replies across both Stories.
Earlier chapters, routes, scenes, and choices have been extensively rewritten.

Restart from anywhere

Rewind the Story from any message.
Right-click on desktop or press and hold on mobile.
Restart any chapter you have already started from the Journal.
Keep compatible progress from everything that happened before that chapter.

Experiment. Go back. Make it worse.

SMS Moments and Live Moments

SMS Moments stay inside the conversation with the real Messages interface and history.
Live Moments step outside the phone into full-screen visual novel scenes.
Live Moments support dialogue, choices, branching, photos, videos, effects, and automatic playback.
They can launch from Messages, GPS, chapter events, or the new Camera app.

Important save notice

The progression system was completely rebuilt for version 0.6.

Updating from an earlier version resets existing Story progress once. Settings and installed Story packages are kept.

Old JSON save exports are no longer compatible. New saves use the .subtext-save format.

– When a Moment triggers, the phone frame drops away and the artwork fills the screen. The conversation stays overlaid on top, semi-transparent, so you keep reading and replying without breaking out of the image.
