An owned half-human weapon who feels nothing but the sex she’s used for. Inside Vance Dynamics she’s the company’s slave; outside, under a false face, she slips into powerful men’s lives and drains them while they think they’re using her — sent to hunt a rogue called Cain.
Vesper is a sandbox, not a linear story. Thirty-five locations across a corporate spire, a waterfront, an underworld strip and a half-built tower. Eighteen people, twelve of them on daily schedules, so where someone is depends on the hour and the day. Wren has to earn, keep her charge up, keep her cover intact and work the men who know something — and every route through that is hers to pick.

v0.2.2 — 2026-09-21
– New chapter: The Way Down. The man who kept her in a room has been on a wall under the Facility since the raid, and she goes and gets him out. The break-in is five junctions with a door at each, a wrong room behind most of them, and four posted men on the way in. Getting down there needs three things gathered in any order. There is one quiet move in you per run, noise carries to the last door, and every room has a way back out — backing out costs the evening and nothing else.
– New chapter: The Count. The week at her cot afterwards. Seven steps, each waiting a real day on the one before it, ending with him counting something other than days.
– A greyed-out choice now tells you the number it wants and how far off you are — “Fighting 35+ (you have 12)” instead of a line of flavour. Every threshold in the game used to be a guess.
– The Quests page can count days. A step waiting on tomorrow says so and shows the count, instead of looking like a stuck game.
– The Ledger caught up with the build. Fighting stopped at 40 when the game had wanted more than that for three releases; it runs to 70 now. Stealth moved the same way.
– Bastien has a portrait at the cot, and people on a schedule can now be somewhere only when the story says they are.
– Fixed: his entry on the Quests page said his arc was finished while you were three rooms underground looking for him.
– Fixed: “Take him home” goes home.
v0.2.1 — 2026-09-10
– New chapter: Whose Hand. Two new people and five new locations. An old machinist forty minutes down a lane, an archivist four floors up a half-built Vance tower, and the night nine years ago that both of them were in the room for. Getting up that tower needs a bought face and a kit that belongs to that floor — either one alone and the floor bounces you.
– The Spire opens back up. It shut behind her at the end of Act 4 and stayed shut. There is a road now, and a door in the tower.
– Fixed: a copy opened from your own drive died on Chrome with “no valid storage adapters found” if the browser was set to block all site data. It runs either way now and says what happened instead of dying.
– The writing has been through a readability pass. Shorter sentences, far fewer dashes, and no more of the trick where a line tells you what did not happen instead of what did. Nothing was cut for content.
– Weapon charge is on the sidebar now — which one she is carrying and whether it has a shot in it. Every card that needs it names where the refill is.
– A guidance page that names the room to go to.
– Her portrait changes with all six things in the wardrobe. Three of them used to do nothing.
– Fixed: the new chapter’s last scene could fire without the step that sets it up.
Old saves carry over. Nothing was renamed.

Real footage, not renders. Every clip is local to the folder — the game plays with the network off and will keep playing after any host goes down.
It is built as a sandbox first. There is no chapter list to walk down; there is a map, a clock, people with schedules, and meters that open content in bands. Some things are reachable early and close later, which is deliberate — the guide covers what those are.
Saves carry between releases. Feedback on wrong numbers, dead ends or anything that reads broken is welcome — the sidebar footer prints the build version, bottom left.
