Version number is shown on the title screen.
Changed the way game window scales on different screens. Before it was trying to adjust to the screen, not it just fills empty space with more game. Check it out, it’s easier to show than to explain.
With the new way the screen is scaling it become possible to add zoom into the game. There are 3 levels of zoom, you can zoom in and get pretty much same look as was in the first version, or completely zoom out, to get almost RTS view of the surrounding area (it means you will occasionally see empty spaces at the edge of the map – we’ll deal with those later)
Reworked all the UI so it’s now adjustable to new scaling of the screen
When you click to make dialogue window transparent, it’s now saved in the game settings, so the game will remember it.
Health and other bars added to the quick menu screen (middle mouse button or Alt)
Font size can be adjusted in the game settings.
Touch controls should now behave better on mobile.
Fixes to UI when playing on controller.
If somebody is playing on controller on mobile – let me know if touch controls get in the way now.
Made it so NPCs roaming behavior is simplified when player is waiting using wait menu or sleeping. It should make it less resource incentive.
Fix. Made it so selected button is more visible.
Fix. NPC aren’t talking anymore when sleeping.
Fix. Dirk isn’t teleporting around anymore.
Linux version. It was requested, so I made it. I wasn’t able to do extensive tests, so you can try it out and tell me how it is working for you.
OpenGL version for mobile. This version uses simpler, older renderer. It should have better performance on some phones, but I can’t guarantee it will be better for you.
To try OpenGL mode on PC: create a label for the game exe, open it’s settings, and add “–rendering-driver opengl3 ” after the path to the file.
OpenGL made comes with a tradeoff of greatly simplified rain effect. It also may actually have worse performance on some newer devices, so if normal version works for you, just play it.
New content:
While main focus was on technical stuff, I was able to add some new content.
Confessions with Sister Anri once a day. After you unlock new scene with a villager, you can confess to Sister Anri and tell her all about it. This will improve relationship with her, and when you reach 5+ relationship, it will unlock her new scene.
MC’s solo scene in the bed got an illustration, plus some variants.
NPC can masturbate at night when they are horny. Can happen if they have 100-200 lust when they got to sleep. This will be a foundation of them triggering scenes on their own in the future.
Mushrooms. Mushrooms now spawn in the woods and swamp around the village. They have 10% chance to spawn around certain spots at midnight. There are 6 types of mushrooms at the moment. This will be a starting point for spawning mobs and for cooking/alchemy in the future.
Collecting mushrooms for Eilisha, repeatable quest. You now can work for Eilisha, similar to how you were looking for items for Iss in WaB. Her quests doesn’t have a time limit, but after you complete one, it can be started again only at the next day. Eilisha doesn’t have a reward scene at the moment.
