Phoney 0.2

– Added persistent story variables supporting numbers, text, and true/false states.

– Choices can now modify relationship values and unlock conditional messages, choices, scenes, and automatic branches.

– Decisions can have delayed consequences, allowing characters to remember earlier behaviour and react later.

– Added improved save compatibility for evolving stories and newly introduced variables.

– Added player names and `{player_name}` support in story dialogue.

– Added online/offline presence changes and expanded timed conversation breaks.

– Tapping the conversation while a character is typing now shortens the remaining typing delay.

– Added 480p, 720p, and 1080p display presets.

– Expanded Studio with tools for declaring variables, applying effects, adding conditions, and creating conditional branches.

– Added clearer 18+ controls and consent gates before sensitive route-specific media.

– Tapping/clicking the screen will now skip typing speed to almost instant messages.

– Improved the functionality and appearance of the anchoring to bottom button.

– Added a decision rollback button – essentially returns the player to the previous decision choices.

– Removed the download icon, it functioned improperly for some reason. Images now download on their own after a brief period.

Ren’s story has been substantially expanded with distinct romantic, casual, pursuit, platonic, friendship, and distance outcomes. Routes develop from accumulated choices rather than a single route-selection screen, and the possibility of meeting Ren now depends on the relationship the player has built.
