Developer Notes:

Hello! I’m Casalius After Dark, and Shared Desires is my first visual novel. After following 3D adult multimedia projects for a long time, I eventually decided to bring my own ideas and stories to life.

About the development:

My goal with Shared Desires is to create a cinematic adult visual novel that balances storytelling, character development, and entertainment. While the adult content is an important part of the experience, I also want the characters, their motivations, and their relationships to feel believable within the world of the story. Shared Desires currently follows a linear narrative. I personally enjoy experiencing visual novels much like a movie or TV series, following a focused story from beginning to end. However, my approach may evolve over time depending on what I feel works best for the story.

About animations:

I use AI tools as part of my animation workflow, with a strong focus on maintaining visual consistency between the original renders and animations. As the technology and my workflow improve, I may revisit older animations when I feel I can achieve better results.

About sound and music:

I’d like to gradually introduce sound effects, ambient audio, and music as development continues to make the experience more cinematic and immersive.
